Orange Belgium offers all of its residential customers 2 GB of mobile data extra to celebrate its 2nd anniversary on the Belgian market

This May 9th it is exactly two years since the Orange brand was introduced in Belgium. To celebrate this anniversary, all residential customers of Orange Belgium will be able to enjoy an additional 2 GB of mobile data, free of charge, as part of the Orange Thank You loyalty program.

To thank Orange customers for their loyalty, Orange is offering 2 GB of mobile data to all of its residential postpaid customers and customers who have a prepaid or ZEN offer. As from the 10th May and until the end of the month, all Orange customers will be progressively informed. This gift is offered in the framework of the Orange Thank You loyalty program which already rewarded its residential customers last year with an additional 1 GB of mobile data for Orange’s first anniversary. To benefit from it, customers just have to accept the 2 GB in the My Orange app or in the customer zone on www.orange.be/surprise and www.orange.be/verrassing.

Cristina Zanchi, Chief Consumer Officer: “With Orange Thank You, we regularly express our gratitude to our customers for their loyalty with gifts and personalized experiences. The 2 GB  of mobile data for our anniversary matches their needs and allows them to benefit from Orange’s top quality network. Last year, more than 1 million customers redeemed an Orange Thank You gift: from free mobile data, to cinema tickets, biscuits, chocolates, music, beauty boxes and magazines to even connected objects and mobile applications. Since the launch of the cinema  advantage more than 340,000 tickets were offered to our customers with a peak of 10,000 tickets for Valentine’s Day this year. But we also offer the possibility to donate the gift to charity. More than 30,000 customers opted for this generous gesture last year.

The introduction of the Orange brand in Belgium 2 years ago

The objective of introducing the Orange brand in Belgium in May 2016 was to support the company´s convergence strategy and the launch of the mobile + Internet + TV offer, henceforth called Love. Two years after its launch, Orange already has more than 120,000 Love customers, which confirms the correctness of its strategy and the effectiveness of its brand. This year Orange Belgium adopted a bold challenger position to shake up the telecom market and to wow customers with disruptive offers that allow them to stay connected anytime anywhere with a complete peace of mind. A first proof point was the launch of the Eagle Unlimited tariff plan with an unlimited amount of mobile data, voice calls and SMS, shortly followed by Love Unlimited, adding unlimited internet and premium TV content to the Eagle offer. Orange will continue to enforce its disruptive mobile offers − enrich its portfolio of services, enhance content and reinforce loyalty. With the ultimate goal of extending an excellent customer experience to every member of a family.
