Orange Belgium and VOO expand their Executive Committees

Orange Belgium's Board of Directors validated the nomination of Philippe Toussaint as a newly appointed member of the Executive Committee at Orange Belgium. The Board of Directors of VOO also nominated Philippe Toussaint as well as Stéphane Le Goff and Gildas Bouchet as new Executive Committee members at VOO. They all start on June 5th, 2023.

Philippe Toussaint, 53, holds a Master of Applied Science in Electrical Engineering with a specialization in telecommunications from the Faculté Polytechnique de Mons. Philippe also graduated an Executive Master in Management from the Solvay Brussels School in 2008. Philippe has almost 30 years of telecommunication industry experience. In 1997 Philippe joined Orange Belgium (Mobistar at the time) as Product Manager and was promoted to Director of Product Development in 2005 leading the mobile, roaming, interconnection and carrier products and services. In 2016, he initiated and drove the launch of the broadband and TV line of business. In 2018, Philippe was appointed Corporate Strategy Director playing a key role in the RAN sharing agreement with Proximus and the acquisition file of VOO. He is known for his strategic vision with an in-depth knowledge of the telecom sector, as well as his strong capacity of operationalization.

Stéphane Le Goff, 41, has a Master of Science in Telecom Engineering from Télécom SudParis. Stéphane also followed pre-doctoral studies in Networks & Telecommunications at Télécom Paris. Stéphane started his career in 2004 as Project Leader at the National Institute of Standards and Technology based in Washington. Stéphane joined Beijaflore in 2006 as Strategy and Business Senior Consultant working at, amongst others, Nokia (Alcatel-Lucent at the time), Bouygues Telecom and Proximus. In 2009 he joined Orange Belgium (Mobistar at the time) as Product Manager where he held various positions in Business Development and Partnership Management. On top of his new appointment as Chief Wholesale Officer at VOO, Stéphane will pursue his role as Director Wholesale & Fixed Accesses at Orange Belgium. He is known for his strategic thinking in transformation management and his ability to create value through strategic partnerships.

Gildas Bouchet, 45, went to Ohio State University graduating with an MBA and a Specialization in Strategic Market Planning. He alsoholds a Master in Business Administration & Management at the Audencia Business School. Gildas started his career at the Orange Group in 2002 and worked for Orange in France and Spain. He held various positions in the Controlling department such as Business Controller and Country Controller and became Head of Financial Planning and Analysis as well as Director Central Controlling in Spain. At Orange Belgium Gildas was a Finance Program Director until his nomination. His in-depth analytical skills and ability to synthesize for solutions and decision-making will certainly help him in his new role at VOO.
