Orange Belgium thanks its customers for raising € 40,429 via Orange’s Thank You loyalty program, to support digital inclusion among young people

To mark the eighth anniversary of the Orange Thank You loyalty program, Orange Belgium has, for the third year running, given its customers the opportunity to donate the value of their loyalty gifts to an association. The focus this year is on digital inclusion with the CodeNPlay association, which works to promote “equal digital opportunities for everyone.” This campaign raised a total of € 40,429 for digital inclusion.  

Orange Belgium rewards the loyalty of its customers and celebrates their special occasions. With the Orange Thank You program, they can obtain additional data, discounts on goods or services and much more. This year's campaign was again an enormous success, with tens of thousands of customers deciding to donate rather than receive a gift of their choice.  

Thanks to these donations, Orange Belgium is helping to invest in CodeNPlay, which works to promote digital literacy among young people by offering workshops in robotics, programming, and good digital practices in primary schools. For a whole day, schools will be able to take an immersive introduction to programming and handling educational robots.   

Orange Belgium is proud to support associations that need to develop and to give them the means so that they in turn can give resources for future generations. Thanks to these donations, 2,300 children from 10 French-speaking schools and 10 Dutch-speaking schools in Belgium (Wallonia and Flanders) will benefit from free activities devoted to robotics, programming and good digital practices in their schools located in villages to go beyond big cities for audiences far from digital from September to December 2024.
