Laptop, tablet, gaming console, camera... from now on, all devices equipped with a WiFi connection can access the Mobistar 3G network. How? Thanks to the 3G/Wifi modem which goes on sale today in all Mobistar points of sale. Compatible with the GPRS, EDGE, 3G and 3G+ networks, this little box with its own SIM card automatically chooses the best mobile network, enabling you to connect all your terminals via WiFi so they can access the Internet. Surfing the Mobistar 3G network is child’s play, even for those with a tablet equipped only with a WiFi connection, for example.
With no software installation needed, the 3G/Wifi modem is both robust and easy to use. Once the SIM card has been put into the device, just switch it on and the 3G/Wifi modem appears in the list of WiFi networks. You can then connect to the wireless network by entering a pass code, as for any WiFi modem.
Additional advantage: the 3G/Wifi modem enables everyone with a 3G compatible device, be it a smartphone or a tablet, to benefit from better “indoor” coverage. By positioning the little box in the place in your home or office with the best reception (near a window, for example), you benefit from optimal 3G reception everywhere.
