Werner De Laet appointed Chief Financial Officer at Mobistar

Brussels, 24 March 2006 - As of 1 June 2006, Werner De Laet will become Chief Financial Officer of Mobistar. His appointment has been approved by Mobistar's Executive Board. Werner has been working in the Finance department at Mobistar for the past 8 years, during which he has steadily taken on greater responsibilities. As Chief Financial Officer, he will be a member of the Executive Committee.

Werner De Laet, 36, graduated as a business engineer from the Solvay School of Management in Brussels, and also obtained an MBA from the Management Vlerick School in Gent. He started his career in the financial world at Arthur Andersen, where he gained experience in the financial management of companies in the telecommunications sector, among others. Five years later, Werner moved on to SIPEF, an agro-industrial group, where he was responsible for the management of information systems and financial management.

In 1998, Werner joined Mobistar as Financial Information Systems Manager, shortly after becoming Business Unit Finance Manager. In 2001, he was appointed Head of Business Controlling, reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer.

In his new function, Werner will be a member of the Executive Committee of Mobistar and will oversee the company's general financial policy.
