Barcelona, 15 February 2006 - Mobistar is launching 'Business Everywhere', an integrated mobile solution that allows high-speed access via the 3G, EDGE, WiFi and ADSL networks.
With 'Business Everywhere', Mobistar is giving laptop users wireless access to their e-mails, the Internet or their company's data (VPN), anytime, anywhere and always at the highest possible speed.
The application 'Business Everywhere', for which Mobistar has selected the PCMCIA data card 'Globe Trotter 3G/EDGE HSDPA ready' developed by Option, is based on a simple dashboard that is intuitive and that can be customized by users. This allows a wireless connection to the 2G networks (GPRS/EDGE) and 3G networks (UMTS/HSDPA) as well as to WiFi. The software automatically detects the access to the fastest available network. The user or IT responsible can also specify the order of preference that best suits his needs, for greater control and flexibility.

With the 3G, which is currently being deployed and EDGE technology, which now covers over 99% of the Belgian population, Mobistar is the first operator to offer wireless speed access across the country. The software has furthermore been designed to connect wireless and without effort to ADSL of Mobistar through the Livebox.»
The 'Business Everywhere' application is available in the form of two new particularly flexible and competitive data packages. The "Business Everywhere MAX' package allows users to download an almost unlimited volume of data (up to 1 Gb) in Belgium for the fixed price of € 55/month excluding VAT. 'Business Everywhere OPTIMA' is rather an intelligent tariff that is automatically adapted in line with the use made of the service every month: € 20 excluding VAT for up to 20 Mb/month, € 40 excluding VAT for up to 60 Mb/month and an almost unlimited volume (up to 1 Gb) for € 60/month excluding VAT.
