Brussels, 30 January 2006 - As from the 1st of February of this year, Mobistar is launching the cheapest subscription on the market, which the user is free to cancel at all times, without additional cost.
For € 5 per month, including 17 minutes of calling time (!), the Mobistar BestDeal user is eligible to take out a subscription with a sliding scale of tariffs and the freedom of a prepaid card.
In fact, the more the user calls towards all the fixed and mobile networks (excluding special numbers) whatever the day of the week or the time of day, the lower the price per minute :
Call minutes per month | Price per minute* |
1-20 | € 0,29 |
The first 17 minutes are included in the € 5 subscription charge ! | |
21-300 | € 0,20 |
301- | € 0,15 |
* no connection costs, call charged per second after the first minute
The price of sending an SMS is set at € 0.15 per SMS. Users have the possibility of activating a package of 60 SMS per month for € 7.80 (€ 0.13 per SMS) or of 120 SMS per month for € 12 (€ 0.10 per SMS).
This is a particularly flexible plan as the user is not required to make any commitment as far as the duration of the subscription is concerned. They have the possibility of cancelling the subscription at all times without additional costs.
Mobistar also undertakes to contact the Mobistar BestDeal user within six months of taking out the subscription in order to carry out an analysis of their user profile and, if necessary, to advise them on a more suitable tariff plan. The operator will then automatically analyse the user's profile every year.
With Mobistar BestDeal, Mobistar sets out to overhaul its offers, making them clearer, more adapted to the needs of its customers and more attractive. This is the first tariff plan of its kind on the market. It meets the needs of infrequent callers who still want to benefit from the advantages of a subscription, the needs of irregular callers who do not want to pay disproportionately high fixed charges as well as the needs of frequent users who can take advantage of a sliding scale of tariffs according to their calling volume.
