Mobistar has published its financial results for the first half of 2009. Notwithstanding the unfavourable economic climate and the expected regulatory pressure, Mobistar is in line with its forecasts for the 2009 financial year. The company's sound financial situation is due to the implementation of its strategy and the control over changes in costs.

an unfavourable economic climate, the consolidated turnover of the operator as well as the number of new customers have increased. Despite the expected regulatory pressure and the continuous competition, Mobistarmaintains its guidance for the financial year 2009.

Mobistar announced its results for the 2008 financial year today. The results of the operator exceeded its forecasts in terms of turnover, EBITDA telephony margin and net profit per share. The ompany´s solid financial situation is due to a consistent implementation of its strategy and excellent cost control.

Mobistar today announced its results for the first semester of 2008. Despite continued competition and the persistent pressure from regulating authorities, Mobistar was able to achieve results that exceeded the initial guidance.

At the end of September 2007, the number of active Mobistar and VOXmobile customers had risen by 7.7 % compared with the same period one year earlier. This growth results from the success of the new range of segmented products and a series of partnerships. Regulatory pressure and tougher competition continue to influence the consolidated turnover, which fell by 2.5 % at the end of September 2007 compared with the end of September 2006

Today, Mobistar (Euronext Brussels: MOBB) announces its results for the first half of 2007. In a market with increased competition and strong regulatory pressure, Mobistar maintains good commercial results. On 30 June 2007, the operator counts 3,199,735 active customers, an increase of 5.9 % compared to end of June 2006. The customer base including the MVNO cards amounts to 3,240,516, an increase of 88,061 customers compared to end of 2006. The share of postpaid customers continues to grow and on 30 June 2007 reaches 53.4 % of the total number of active customers, compared to 48 % the year before. The growth in number of postpaid customers cannot prevent the ARPU being influenced by a reduction of the mobile termination rates (MTR) and the lower wholesale roaming rates. On 30 June 2007, the ARPU amounts to 36.9 euro, a reduction with 5.5 % over one year. The consolidated turnover amounts to 747.2 million euro on 30 June 2007. As a result of its efforts in cost management and optimisation of its organisation, Mobistar can maintain its profitability. The consolidated EBITDA amounts to 302 million euro and is stable at 41.9 % of the service revenues. In addition, the net profit raised with 2 % to 150.7 million euro, or 2.38 euro per share.
