Brussels, 25 March 2009 - Mobistar today is the first to launch the Holiday Pass and the Internet Pass for advantageously calling and surfing while on holiday. With the pre-paid roaming bundles, Mobistar residential customers can call 36 % cheaper and save 72 % on their internet expenses when staying abroad. As a result, customers can better control their budget for foreign mobile phone use
Almost everyone these days has a mobile phone and likes to use it also when abroad for both calling and surfing. Most Belgians spend an average of 8 days on holiday abroad1. Mobistar therefore came up with the Holiday Pass and the Internet Pass, the first pre-paid bundles for advantageously calling and surfing while abroad. Both Tempo customers and Mobistar subscribers can use these inexpensive and very easy to activate bundles.
The Holiday Pass costs 6 euro and is valid for 7 days. For this, all residential Mobistar customers in zone 12 (enlarged eurozone) can call for 10 minutes, be called for 10 minutes and send 10 SMS's. Receiving SMS's abroad is still free, just like the voice mail deposit and contacting the customer service. Thanks to the Holiday Pass, Mobistar customers can call abroad 36 % cheaper in zone 1 and they can keep their mobile phone budget under better control while on holiday. The Holiday Pass can be activated in Belgium or abroad by entering #123# on the mobile phone and choosing the option Holiday Pass.

Now there's the Internet Pass for surfing advantageously while abroad with a mobile phone, a smartphone or via Internet Everywhere on the laptop. Both pre-paid and post-paid customers can use the Internet Pass. The latter costs 30 euro for 30 MB and is valid for 30 days. Thanks to the Internet Pass, Mobistar customers surf 72 % cheaper in zone A and have control over their budget. The Internet Pass can be activated in Belgium or abroad by entering #123# on the mobile phone and choosing the option Internet Pass, or via the website www.mobistar.be/internetpass.

The Holiday Pass and the Internet Pass can be activated from anywhere and at any time. Additional bundles can be activated when the minutes, SMS's or the megabytes in the bundles are consumed. The minutes, SMS's or megabytes are cumulated with the earlier bundles. The validity period of the extra bundles is re-initialised each time.
