Brussels, 17 March 2015 – Launched in April 2014, Mobistar’s “Have a Nice Day” scheme rewards its customers for their loyalty by offering them gifts and surprises throughout the year. This scheme has now been extended to include cinema tickets. Mobistar customers will now be regularly offered free cinema tickets as part of its deal with the Belgian Cinema Federation (Fédération des Cinémas de Belgique).

Mobistar launched its “Have a nice day” customer loyalty program in April 2014 as part of its key strategy to ensure its customers have the best possible experience. All of Mobistar’s private customers are regularly offered gifts and surprises. There are no loyalty cards and no points to collect: gifts are given spontaneously. The value and frequency of gifts will depend on individual customer loyalty. Recently, for example, Mobistar customers were offered free tickets to see Mika, Lady Gaga and GOOSE, whilst others got free call minutes or extra data allowances.

Building on the success of this scheme and to continue increasing customer satisfaction, the “Have a nice day” scheme has been extended to include cinema tickets. Now, all Mobistar customers who buy a cinema ticket will get an additional ticket for free. This offer will be made to Mobistar customers on an annual, half yearly, quarterly, monthly or weekly basis depending on whether they have been customers for 3 months or 1, 2, 3 or 5 years respectively. So for example, customers who joined Mobistar in 2009 will be offered a free cinema ticket every Tuesday when they buy a ticket in participating cinemas.

The expansion of the “Have a nice day” scheme has been made possible thanks to its partnership with the Belgian Cinema Federation (Fédération des cinémas de Belgique). This offer enables Mobistar customers to get free tickets in 15 different cinemas (across 12 Belgian towns). The participating cinema groups are: UCG (Brussels and Antwerp), Cinepointcom (Charleroi and Verviers), Les Grignoux (Liège), Utopolis (Mechelen, Aarschot and Lommel), Imagix (Mons and Tournai) and Cinéma Albert (Dendermonde). The scheme will shortly expand to include further towns and cinemas.

Customers will be informed via email or text message. Full details of this offer are available at: www.mobistar.be/film.
