After reaching the major milestone of 400,000 convergent customers, Orange Belgium is now launching its new generation of TV decoders, based on Android TV and introducing several new features, such as the integration of native apps of content providers (such as Amazon Prime Video and Streamz), Chromecast capabilities or a new cloud-based multi-screen TV recording service.
Just a few months after its launch, Orange Belgium’s 100% digital brand hey! already receives a significant recognition, as its most abundant offer – 25€ for unlimited calls/SMS and 40GB of data – is Voted Product of the Year 2022.
As from 22nd November, Orange Belgium’s most abundant mobile subscription becomes Go Extreme and offers double more data, going from 30 to 60GB per month, with no additional cost.
Orange Belgium was the first operator to introduce a fully “unlimited” mobile subscription on the Belgian market, as early as 2018, offering unlimited calls, SMS and mobile data. A fair usage policy was set, allowing customers to still enjoy mobile internet after the fair use limit was exceeded, but at a lower speed.
Thanks to a totally free mobile application, customers can now have a mobile wallet and instantly send money to Orange Money users in Belgium or Africa. Moreover, the service is open to every customer, regardless of their telecom operator. The service, launched for the first time in a European country besides France, allows Orange Belgium to further expand the large scope of services it is offering and is a great complement to the special offers dedicated to Belgian diasporas it already launched.

Almost 40% of the Belgians have a subscription to a paid channel or service to watch films or series. Orange TV Lite, the new concept launched by Orange Belgium, makes it possible to combine such a streaming account with common TV broadcasting, without having to pay a full subscription. Orange TV Lite enables viewers to stream up to 20 television channels to their smartphones, tablets and PC’s, including Google Chromecast’s casting feature, without a decoder.
During the coming months, VisitWallonia and Orange Belgium will be deploying an innovative tool that enables everyone to get real-time information on the crowds in Wallonia´s various tourist zones. After a first phase of tests, the goal is to permit citizens and tourists to benefit from Walloon tourist sites without concern. The tool will be made available free of charge during the summer season so people can optimally plan their visits and trips by profiting from less frequented zones.

The customer’s appetite for smart devices keeps growing, and to offer an answer to this demand, Orange Belgium launches today its Smart Home portfolio, a complete offer of smart devices such as connected cameras, smart plugs and smart light bulbs, which can all be controlled thanks to a brand new mobile application, to make the customers’ homes smarter, more secure and more energy efficient in a very easy way.
After launching its first convergent offer Love Trio (internet + TV + mobile) in May 2016 and now one year after the launch of its disrupting offer Love Duo (internet + mobile), Orange Belgium announces it has now attracted more than 300.000 Love customers.
