The possibilities offered by the Internet of Things (IoT) are growing strongly in Belgium thanks to the launch of Orange’s Mobile IoT network last year. Orange’s new IoT technologies (Narrow Band IoT and LTE-M) cover 100% of the Belgian territory making it possible for companies to start putting the first IoT solutions in place. Today Orange Belgium presents a Rapid Development Kit and a commercial mobile IoT offer (called ‘Connected Things’) that provides a full end-to-end service to companies who want to build and roll-out IoT-solutions in a smart and safe way.

Orange Belgium announces today that as from April 26, 2018 it will make its convergent mobile, internet & TV offer Love also available for all cabled homes in the Brussels region, Wemmel and Drogenbos as well as the ‘botte du Hainaut’ area, covering now all cabled Belgian homes.

Following the launch of the 1st unlimited mobile offer in Belgium, Eagle, which consists of unlimited calls, SMS and mobile data, Orange Belgium is presenting today the unlimited version of its convergent offer Love. The Love Unlimited formula offers fully unlimited mobile data, SMS, calls, internet and TV. That way customers can stay connected anytime, anywhere, at home as well as on the go with complete peace of mind.

Since April 10th, Orange Belgium's Love subscribers in Wallonia and the Brussels-Capital Region can discover the Nat Geo Wild channel in their TV offer. This channel dedicated to animals and nature joins the National Geographic channel already available to subscribers in their offer since March 2017 (channel 11).

Gandhi Djuna, better known by his stage name Maître Gims, is a French-speaking rapper and singer. He is extremely popular with young adults. With the release of his latest album ‘Ceinture Noire’ end of March, he is dominating the music scene in Europe and even Canada. Orange Belgium announces the launch of the first mobile subscription with unlimited mobile data volume in Belgium on February 12th as a first move underlining its bold challenger positioning. As from 40€/month, on top of unlimited SMS and calls, the Orange Eagle tariff plans will now include unlimited mobile data to allow customers to surf carefree anytime and anywhere they want without having to worry about their internet use anymore.

Orange Belgium and Discovery Networks Benelux signed a deal on the distribution of TLC, Eurosport 2, the French version of Eurosport 1 and the French version of Discovery channel, which are now included in Orange´s standard digital TV package in Flanders and certain parts of Brussels.

As from today, Orange Belgium offers Visual Voicemail for its customers with an Android device, a service that allows voicemail management directly on their smartphone. In 2011 Orange was the first to offer this service for iPhone, today Orange Belgium becomes the 5th operator in the world to make this handy service available for its customers.

Orange Belgium launched Visual Voicemail for Android and iPhone on its postpaid customer database, but prepaid customers with a Tempo Giga and Tempo Touch card can also install this service.
