From 8 October 2010 on, Mobistar TV is offered at all Mobistar centres together with mobile and fix telephony as well as mobile andunlimited fix internet with the ‘Starpack’ costing 55 euros/month.

Today, Mobistar is the first operator to launch ContactSave in Belgium. This innovative service, which was developed by Gemalto for Mobistar, makes it possible to save all contact details from the SIM card safely on an backup server. This allows Mobistar customers to safeguard their contact details and recover them in case of loss or theft of their mobile phone. The stored data can be uploaded/downloaded at any time. To use ContactSave, Mobistar customers require a new 128k SIM card. These new SIM cards with ContactSave are freely available at the Mobistar Centers.

Mobistar is the first operator to launch a tariff plan for the professional market that combines mobile and fix calls. One Office Voice Pack is a flexible telephony offer for SMEs and the self-employed. By bundling fix and mobile calls, Mobistar is able to offer a more advantageous rate-per-minute, free calls between employees and efficient call transfers. That can save customers up to 25% of their telecom expenses.

Mobistar launches data traffic via WiFi

Mobistar is expanding its Business Everywhere offer for the professional market further with WiFi. As a result data connections and data traffic are possible as of now via the GPRS/EDGE and UMTS/HSDPA mobile networks, the ADSL fixed network and via more than 14,200 WiFi hotspots in Belgium and abroad. The launch of WiFi via a tariff plan is the first concrete realisation of the cooperation agreement that Mobistar concluded with Telenet at the beginning of this year.
