Orange removes EU roaming costs for its postpaid customers between June 1 and August 31, 2016
Orange customers can use their national bundle of calls, text messages and mobile data when travelling in the EU without any extra costs
Travel Data Control let customers enjoy a carefree holiday
Orange customers can easily manage their usage via the My Orange application and limit their roaming budget thanks to the Travel Data Control. The default limit is set at 60 euros. When the limit is reached, the connection is blocked automatically unless the customer decides to change his limit.
This promotion is available to all Orange customers with a Dolphin, Kangaroo and Panther subscription. To benefit from this advantage, customers must activate the promo via the My Orange application, the customer zone on the website (www.orange.be) or at an Orange shop.
Depending on their destination, travelling outside the EU is advantageous as well if customers activate one of the special travel tariff plans. More details on www.orange.be
Today Orange launches its Roaming Summer Promotion for all subscribing customers allowing them to use the call time, text messages and mobile data volumes included in their bundle from any EU-country without any extra costs (list with countries on www.orange.be). Last year Orange had 1.3 million residential customers in roaming during the summer. 1.2 million roamers spent their roaming volume in Europe. France and Spain were most popular.
The offer is valid for call, text messages and mobile data traffic originating from all EU countries. Receiving a text message in the EU is free, receiving a phone call is charged at 0.01€/min.
Once a customer’s bundle is used up, regulated roaming tariffs will apply:
Call: 0.06€/min
Mobile data: 0.06€/Mb
SMS: 0.02€/sms
