Brussels, 13^th November 2013 – By launching Mobile Cloud, Mobistar is the first operator in Belgium to offer its customers, without hidden charges, a secure storage space for the memory of their mobile device (pictures, videos, music, contacts, …). Included in the Dolphin, Panther and Internet Everywhere subscriptions, this new service enables very simple storage of all their files in a safe place, with the ability to access them at any time, from anywhere, on their smartphone, their tablet or via a web portal.  

Mobistar today announced it will start to offer iPhone 5 in Belgium beginning Friday, September 28, during a special event for the winning customers of a contest. iPhone 5 will be available for a retail price of 689.99 euro for the 16GB model, 789.99 euro for the 32GB model and 899.99 euro for the 64GB model.

Vanaf nu donderdag 27 september schakelt Mobistar een versnelling hoger en verlaagt het de tarieven van Panter Unlimited, zijn onbeperkte abonnement (bellen, sms’en, surfen, Mobile TV). De prijs wordt verlaagd van 90 naar 75 euro per maand. Het tarief daalt zelfs tot 60 euro per maand als de klant een contract van 12 maanden neemt, want hij krijgt dan een levenslange korting van 20 % op zijn maandabonnement. Ter herinnering: dit ‘levenslang voordeel’ is een van de sterke punten van het nieuwe tariefbeleid van Mobistar.

Brussels, 21 December 2012 – Today Mobistar is launching a user-friendly, personalised tool on its mobile portal m.mobistar.be that allows customers to manage their mobile account. Mobistar customers are the first who get to manage their mobile data options themselves and monitor the usage of their mobile services, almost in real time. The use of this service is free in Belgium and available on all mobile phones with an internet access. Whether customers are using a smartphone, an iPhone or another mobile, the portal automatically adapts to the device.

It’s an option that prepaid customers can activate on their Tempo tariff plan with a code or an SMS. The option costs 7 euros per month for a volume of 100 MB and is valid for one month. The new option offers Mobistar prepaid customers the benefits of BlackBerry® Messenger (BBM™), a blackberry.mobistar.be mail address, BlackBerry App World™, but they can also access the mobile internet and the social networks Facebook®, Netlog and Twitter®.
