Orange Belgium annonce aujourd'hui avoir finalisé l’acquisition d’une participation majoritaire dans l'opérateur de télécommunications VOO SA. La conclusion de cette opération donne à Orange Belgium une participation de 75 % moins 1 action dans VOO SA, tandis que les 25 % restants plus une action sont conservés par Nethys.

Cette transaction valorise VOO à une valeur d'entreprise de 1,8 milliard d'euros pour 100 % de son capital. Orange Belgium financera cette transaction par un prêt intra-groupe.

Orange Belgium kondigt vandaag aan dat het zijn meerderheidsbelang in telecomoperator VOO NV heeft verworven. De afronding van deze deal geeft Orange Belgium een belang van 75% min 1 aandeel in VOO NV, terwijl de resterende 25% plus één aandeel behouden blijft door Nethys.

Deze transactie waardeert VOO op een ondernemingswaarde van € 1,8 miljard voor 100% van het kapitaal. Orange Belgium zal deze transactie financieren via een intragroepslening.

Orange Belgium announces today that it has completed its acquisition of a controlling stake in telco operator, VOO SA. The closing of this deal will give Orange Belgium a 75% stake minus 1 share in VOO SA, with the remaining 25% plus one share retained by Nethys.

This transaction values VOO at an enterprise value of €1.8 billion for 100% of the capital. Orange Belgium will finance this transaction through an intra-Group loan.

Beide partners zijn verheugd aan te kondigen dat ze deze sponsoring verlengen tot juni 2024, op basis van hun sterke erkenning van gedeelde waarden. Als onderdeel van de hernieuwde samenwerking zullen het Orange Belgium Fonds en de Union Foundation ook nauw samenwerken ten voordele van sociaal kwetsbare kinderen en in projecten met een sociale en ecologische impact.

Both partners are happy to announce that they prolong this sponsorship until June 2024, based on their strong recognition of shared values.
