De vereniging Participate!, in 2006 opgericht op initiatief van Mobistar, organiseert zijn tweede congres.

Het congres is getiteld “Autisme, praat erover!” en gaat door op 1 oktober op de Heizel, vanaf 9.30 uur.

Het congres is in de eerste plaats bedoeld voor ouders en personen met autisme, alsook voor hun entourage. Ook professionele begeleiders zijn uiteraard meer dan welkom.

In a few weeks’ time, adventurers Dixie Dansercoer and Sam Deltour will make a more than 6,000 kilometre crossing of the Antarctic continent propelled only by wind energy. In their luggage will be An Van Rie, a Mobistar employee, who will travel with them as far as their point of departure at the Russian Antarctic base. An is the winner of the ICE Challenge competition launched internally by Mobistar to create a link between all the company’s employees and Dixie and Sam’s expedition.

Electric cars, public transport, carpooling, homeworking … This year, from 16 to 22 September, Mobistar employees will participate more actively than ever before in the European Mobility Week. Nor will customers be left out: this Saturday 17 September, Mobistar will offer its customers no less than 200 bicycles as part of the TempoPlay loyalty programme.

Brussels, 8 September 2011 – This month, Mobistar begins upgrading its mobile network. The company will be investing a total of 36 million euros to install higher-performance and more economical equipment throughout its network over the next two years. This will generate significant benefits not only for customers, who will enjoy better indoor coverage, but also for the environment, thanks to a fifty percent reduction in energy consumption. And the icing on the cake: this investment will prepare Mobistar for the arrival of LTE technology. 

Brussels, 30 August 2011 – As promised, Mobistar continues to enhance its TV offer. From today, Starpack customers can access an innovative and user-friendly video on demand service. The catalogue of films is made available via a partnership with the Dutch company, The Entertainment Group.
