Brussels, 15 May 2013 – As of May 22nd, Mobistar will suspend the marketing of its Internet, fixed telephony and TV offers for residential customers. Mobistar is refocusing its portfolio of fixed products and services on the business market because experience on the residential market has shown that the current regulation makes it impossible to offer profitable fixed services using the network of the incumbent operator. Mobistar reiterates its confidence in the competent authorities to quickly and effectively pursue regulation of the cable under conditions that allow a real opening of the fixed market, and this for the benefit of all consumers. Mobistar’s decision does not concern the market of convergent services to companies, where Mobistar is accelerating its investments and reconfirms its ambition to be a leading player.
Brussels, 7 May 2013 – Mobistar wants to be sure that all its contracted clients get maximum benefit from the most competitive tariffs that are the best suited to their needs. Including those clients who haven't changed their tariff formula for years. That is why, in the coming weeks, clients who are on around forty old tariff plans will be invited to migrate to more economical “Animals” tariffs. As for other loyal clients, they have seen their subscriptions enriched in terms of minutes, texts and data volume in order that they benefit from the same advantages as “Animals” subscribers. These two actions affect 350,000 clients in total. Mobistar guarantees them the best conditions in all cases.
Brussels, 2 May 2013 – Today, the annual general shareholders’ meeting of Mobistar (Euronext Brussels: MOBB) has approved an ordinary (gross) dividend of EUR 1.80 per share as proposed by the Board of Directors.
Brussels, 16 April 2013 – One year ago, Mobistar launched simple and transparent subscriptions represented by ‘animals’. By the end of 2012 more than 670,000 Mobistar subscribers had opted for the ‘animal’ subscription that best suits their communication needs. Mobistar will continue to build on that success and extend its ‘animal’ tariff plans to the prepaid card segment. Subscriber plans will also be adapted to the evolving customer needs. A new major advantage: from now on, all Mobistar customers who spend 25 euros per month can make unlimited phone calls for free to 3,500,000 Mobistar customers, any time. The new mobile tariff plans are not only more comprehensive and better adapted to customer needs, they’re also available at the best market conditions with no obligation to purchase multiple fixed-line products.
