Brussels, 5 November 2015 – Today accelerator Co.Station BXL welcomes on board two new partners. In addition to BNP Paribas Fortis and Socialcom, the two partners which backed Co.Station BXL when it was set up, Mobistar and USG People will now be lending support to the Brussels-based accelerator. This will enable Co.Station BXL to expand its expertise and provide even greater assistance to its community.

Today, Mobistar, KPN, BASE Company and Proximus have agreed to settle all outstanding litigation between BASE Company, Mobistar and Proximus related to the practice of applying tariffs from the past for mobile telecommunication services that are differentiated between on-net[1] and off-net[2] voice communications.

Today, Mobistar’s Board of Directors has approved the re-financing of its 450 million euros long-term revolving credit facility expiring in December 2015. The new long term revolving credit facility, with an average maturity of 5 years, amounts to 420 million euros and will be provided by Atlas Services Belgium S.A. (100% Orange S.A. subsidiary). It comes on top of the existing 120 million euros revolving credit facility signed in December 2013.
Today, IBPT published a consultation on a draft decision regarding new wholesale price conditions for high-speed Internet as well as digital and analogic television via cable networks for the Brussels region.
Brussels, 13 May 2015 – Mobistar welcomes favourably the decision of the Brussels Court of Appeal rejecting the arguments of Nethys/Tecteo, Brutélé and Numericable and thus ending the legal proceedings against the regulation of the cable networks. This positive decision permits Mobistar to continue to prepare the launch of its TV and internet services on the cable networks.
This Monday 20 April, Mobistar has taken note of Telenet’s decision to buy Base Company (KPN Group). Since this operation must be reported to competition authorities, Mobistar expects them to thoroughly analyse the consequences of the purchase in the interest of Belgian consumers, for both landline and mobile telephone services.
Mobistar’s 4G network made its commercial debut at the end of March 2014. At that time, it covered 50% of the Belgian population. Favoring uniform coverage to ensure service continuity, new cities were quickly added. Mobistar’s 4G coverage rate has grown steadily to become Belgium's largest 4G network.
Brussels, 17 March 2015 – Launched in April 2014, Mobistar’s “Have a Nice Day” scheme rewards its customers for their loyalty by offering them gifts and surprises throughout the year. This scheme has now been extended to include cinema tickets. Mobistar customers will now be regularly offered free cinema tickets as part of its deal with the Belgian Cinema Federation (Fédération des Cinémas de Belgique).
